Acceptance of your order

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Orders placed by you are an offer to purchase and will be accepted by us subject to stock availability at the stated prices, and subject to your payment having been received by us in full. We require full payment for the goods before your order can be accepted. Once your payment has been received by us, we will send an email to your stated email address to confirm our acceptance of your order. Upon acceptance of your order, despatch will be arranged to your address. Completion of the contract between you and Bench will be perfected when we despatch the goods to you. The sale contract is concluded in Manchester, England, and the contract language is English.

We will be pleased to accept orders provided they are for the personal, non-commercial use by our customers. We will not accept orders which are intended for resale or distribution for commercial purposes. The resale of any products purchased on the Bench website without the express written agreement of Bench or Americana International Limited, is not permitted.

Acknowledgement of your order

Provided you have supplied us with your correct email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order.

Availability

All items are subject to availability. In the event that the item you wish to purchase is not available, we will email you immediately to inform you. If your order is delayed because we are awaiting supply of stock or for any other reason, we will make every effort to keep you informed and discuss revised delivery timing.

Prices

Prices and offers are valid as advertised and may change from time to time. The GBP price of an item is inclusive of UK VAT.

Payment

Payment can be made securely online by Visa, MasterCard and Maestro cards. The credit/debit card being used must be yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order. In the event that your card authorisation and validation is declined, we reserve the right to cancel your order. For first time online customers, we may request that shipping be to the credit card billing address only.

By submitting an order to us through our website you represent and warrant the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct and when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full.

Delivery

Once your credit card has been approved, your order will be despatched from Manchester by our contracted courier company. Despatch will be made to your stated delivery address and a signature will be required upon delivery to ensure safe arrival.

Standard delivery for UK (including the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland) orders is 2-3 working days. If you have ordered several products we may deliver these products on different days at no extra cost to you. Standard delivery costs £4.50.

To ensure prompt delivery we must have proper and complete address details and make one delivery charge per delivery address. A daytime telephone number is required in case we or our delivery agents need to contact you.

Insurance

The goods which you order will be insured by us or by our agents while in transit and up to the point of delivery to your address. You will be asked to sign for the goods on arrival at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you.

Cancellation by us

We will aim to fulfil your orders to the best of our ability. However, we reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if one or other of the following circumstances apply:

  • We do not have sufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
  • We do not deliver to your area or country

In the event of cancellation we will contact you by email and will re-credit your account as soon as possible, and in any event within 30 days of your order being placed.
